Welcome to the Integrated Mac web site! The purpose of the site is to help you integrate technologies specific to the Mac and Web 2.0 into student learning. The links to the left are designed to help you find what you need to integrate student learning and help you with personal productivity.
The Blog link utilizes Web 2.0 technology to provide you with timely tips on using your Mac productively and helping you integrate. Mike Quinn and Herman Wood will post there and you are encouraged to join the discussion via comment.
The Integration link points you to examples of integrated Mac teaching and learning, ways to integrate, and a link to PICASSO, your primary resource for curriculum.
The Tools link provides help with using the tools provided to you by the district, such as Microsoft Office, Inspiration, and Timeliner.
The iTools link provides help with the built in software that makes up the iLife suite of applications: iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, iWeb, GarageBand, iDVD, and iCal.
The Communication link is for help with GroupWise email and Safari, the web browser.
Instructional Technology is a link to the Cobb County Instructional Technology Department where numerous other resources are located.
Educators connects you with other professionals in the education field, primarily through their blogs.
Community will connect you with resources specific to the Mac community, such as user groups, sites or blogs devoted to using the Mac, and resources provided by Apple directly.
